our restorer
One of the countless beautiful aspects of the Lord is He is our Restorer! He takes what is seemingly warn out or lost and makes it new again!
Have you ever restored a piece of furniture or seen someone do it? It’s incredible! What looked to be finished, discarded, or beyond repair was worked with, gently, over time, with great vision and patience, brought back to life, gained purpose again, and in some cases looks better than it did before.
I can’t think of a better picture of what Jesus does for us. He sees to it that anything needing renewal, refreshing, remaking is restored, completely, lacking nothing. He even restores what the enemy stole from us and does so with interest. Zechariah 9:12 says “I will restore double to you.”
Friend, we serve an awesome God, who as a loving Father, makes sure His kids are radically cared for!
