REGGIE MERCADO

SENIOR LEADER & PASTOR

My journey with Jesus began when I was twelve years old. Although I was raised in a Christian home and attended church since I was a baby, I started my own walk with Jesus after a series of difficult events happened in my family. I told the Lord that if He is real, I needed Him more than ever. Soon after I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in a violently beautiful way. My life was opened up to Supernatural reality from that day forward, and I’ve experienced radical encounters with God ever since.
Being called to ministry from that day on, I enrolled in LIFE Bible College (Now LIFE Pacific University) after graduating High School and was hired at The Church on the Way as a janitor. I worked my way through college and became the Sr. High Youth Pastor at The Church on the Way, where my bride and I served for nine years. We planted The Fountain in 2003 and it has been a wild, crazy, and fulfilling ride ever since!

My passion is the Presence of God. When He shows up in a tangible, palpable way…everything changes. Revival is made easy in the Presence of God. His Kingdom manifesting on earth with signs, wonders, and miracles is our assignment and my life’s passion!

I love my beautiful bride and three sons with everything I am. I’m passionate about the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and I coach youth basketball and football in the community.

MARY MERCADO

SENIOR LEADER & WOMEN'S MINISTRY CO-DIRECTOR

I received Jesus when I was five years old at The Church on the Way. My relationship with Him became real to me when I was in junior high. I understood what having a personal relationship with Jesus was about. I can’t imagine life without Him!

I love seeing women and girls realize who they are in Jesus! I love watching them walk out in their destiny and not let their past define who they are. I love it when they realize how their daddy God loves them and has so much for them. I love to see them freed from past hurts and let go of all that is holding them back from being all Jesus has created them to be—a child of the living God!

AMY DOWNING

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS &
KIDS MINISTRY DIRECTOR

For much of my life I have been passionate about three things: Jesus, children, and creativity. At The Fountain, I have the honor of incorporating all three of these passions into nurturing future generations into their own faith journeys.

My favorite way to spend time and worship with the Holy Spirit is through many creative activities, such as writing, drawing, doodling, singing, gardening, and even decorating. I love helping kids (and grown ups) discover and grow their gifts to show their heart for Jesus and to bring the Kingdom with them wherever they are.

My husband Michael and I have two almost grown-up boys, and we live in Thousand Oaks, along with our two dogs and four goats.

LARRY LAFATA

SENIOR TEAM & PROPHETIC MINISTRY

I serve as a member of the Senior Team. I was asked to come to The Fountain with my wife Julie to partner with the Senior Leader to establish a “Culture of Honor." This connected with my passion to see believers trained and equipped to fulfill their purpose and destiny in the Kingdom.

I prophetically partner with the Senior Team in releasing a revival culture so people can take the Kingdom into their homes & marketplace to establish God’s domain. Jesus is the essence of my being; He is the source of my strength and the strength of my life. My wife Julie and I have been married 42 years and have three children and eight grandchildren.

PAM PEAKE

LEAD INTERCESSOR

I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington where I fell in love with horses, gymnastics and sports. I attended Western Washington State College. I married and moved to Southern California in 1972. My husband Don and I have 2 daughters,1 son and 4 wonderful grandchildren.

As a teacher, I taught preschool and assisted in Elementary school for 14 years. I also worked in a Pediatric office for 7 years. For the past 9 years I have been working for an Internist. I have loved my jobs.

I received Jesus as my Savior when I was 23. My heart’s love and passion is to know Him more and more, to hear what He is saying and doing. My favorite time is seeking Him in the early morning hours. I lift up everything to Him and I love living from that place and incorporating Him into my life wherever I am. I love leading Intercession at the Fountain Foursquare Church. Intercession is an everyday way of life for me.
