Just like anything else we do in the physical or spiritual realm, practicing helps us get better at what we do.  We’ve talked about our Fountain Family belief or Core Value, The Presence, the last two weeks.  We prioritize the manifest presence of God not only in our gatherings but personally as well. We shouldn’t wait for Sunday morning to encounter the Lord in a tangible, powerful way; this would be our daily experience. We were made to not only encounter Him but to host Him 24/7.

This takes practice and intentionality.  Will you set aside time every day and practice sensing the presence of God in a tangible way?  Start with one minute three times a day.  Perhaps first thing in the morning when you wake up, then again around lunch time, and again before you go to bed. Get alone with God in silence and wait until you sense His presence upon you and simply enjoy being with Him.

The endgame is learning how to abide in Him nonstop.  To take His manifest presence with us everywhere we go.  It’s possible! So let’s get good at it!
