Did you know there’s a “Go!” inside of you?  As a follower of Jesus we have a “Go!” in our DNA.  That means we function better when we are on the move with Him.  All too often, the Western Church has adopted a sedentary lifestyle, meaning we sit in church for a convenient amount of time, go home and sit on our couch until we go back to church to sit and receive some more!  While that statement is a bit of an exaggeration it’s not far from the truth.  Most of our church expressions are about consumer Christianity where we treat followers of Jesus like customers.  This has created an “obesity” in the church where many are content with consuming or sitting and rarely going with Jesus to be where He is at work in our communities.

Consumers become critical over time. While radical followers of Jesus on the frontline of Kingdom Advancement don’t have time to be critical, they are consumed by a more urgent reality, taking ground that belongs to Jesus.

Like a large ship, we are easier to steer when we are moving.  We were made to move physically and spiritually.  Let’s ask Jesus where He is moving and join Him there on the front lions where Heaven meets earth.
