Being Good Stewards
As lovers of Jesus it’s our desire to please Him in every area of our lives. The good news is He’s not unpleased with us to begin with. He loves us and a for us! It’s because of this truth that we desire to live a life that honors Him in everything we are and do. That includes stewarding well the things He entrusts to us.
Matthew 25:14-30, is the parable of the talents. We know Jesus describes our Father as a wise investor. He’s looking to invest into those who steward well what they’ve been given.
This includes our time, relationships, callings, money, and gifting. Being mindful of what God has entrusted to us and seeking to honor Him in each of those areas, being obedient to Him and cultivating those areas are ways we can steward well what God has given us.
We do so not to get in return, but because we love Him and want to bring glory to His name through our lives.
